Biography

My name is Sinali, and I'm a BFA student in Cinema and Media Arts at York University, born in Sri Lanka and raised in Canada. I have always loved digital media, it's creative and everywhere: ads, billboards, logos and animations. That’s why I’m currently exploring a wide range of creative fields, including working with photography, editing, while also incorporating an element of fashion. At this point in my creative journey, I enjoy experimenting with different tools because it allows me to build a variety of skills while being flexible and discovering what I would like to pursue in the future. Something I love about my work is how creative it is and how it pays a lot of attention to detail. Currently, I am working on building a portfolio to compile all my projects in one place. My goal is to create work that is visually appealing and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing where my creative journey will take me!
