Archival Multimedia Family Montage
I produced this archival montage film for my Film 2200 - "Early Cinema to the Coming of Sound" course for an assignment in which we had to create a multimedia family portrait. I combined two different mediums: photographs and mini cassette tapes, which hold some of my family's most cherished memories.
The piece means a lot to me because in the process, I got to uncover so much about my family's history and channel that creatively to make a very emotional archival montage that felt like an homage to my ancestry.
