This project is a conceptual holiday packaging design developed for a SKIMS x Nest collaboration as part of a course project at York University. The goal was to reimagine luxury candle packaging by translating fashion-influenced visual language into a physical design object that functions as both packaging and experience.
Drawing from editorial aesthetics and brand analysis, I explored how form, material, and structure could elevate a familiar product into a statement piece. The final outcome, a corset-inspired metal casing which reflects an interest in silhouette, tactility, and unboxing as a designed experience rather than purely functional packaging.
This project highlights my approach to design as a process that moves from research and ideation to prototyping and material execution, while bridging visual storytelling, brand identity, and experiential design.
