During my daily walk to Pioneer Village station I decided to take a detour and stop by Stong Pond at York University and found these amazing pollinators at work. A blue damselfly, a sweat bee and a bumble bee were all at work while the grey headed coneflower danced with the wind, all playing their part in supporting our ecosystem.
These small interactions are a constant reminder to slow down and observe the beauty of the world that lies around us. It’s also a reminder to leave nature as discovered and not disturb the delicate balance it maintains.
