"An empty shell that’s what I am. I learned at an early age my existence is meaningless to others. My worth is determined by how useful I am. I just had to present myself as a perfect princess, who does everything she is asked of. I never thought to question it, I never had a reason to. That includes the political marriage my brother has arranged."

"The new bodyguard is driving me crazy, bringing out feelings I never thought possible. He’s the complete opposite of me, he’s real unlike my facade."

"He never thought he would become a bodyguard to the princess. I don’t take orders from anyone, especially someone who doesn’t know how the world works. But she makes me want to show her the world."

What will they do, is abandoning everything an option.
