These typographic denotative and connotative posters are centred around contrasting ways of presenting information on the famed architect Richard Meier. The denotative poster simply displays the information in a literal and straightforward way, while still adhering to design principles and layouts. The second, connotative poster represents Meier's distinct architectural style and his traits as a designer, evoking similar feelings and critical interpretations as
his buildings and sketches.

Mockup
Richard Meier designs featured geometric shapes and open spaces that allowed an abundance of natural light into his structures.
This absence of colour allows the viewer to focus on the structure simply in terms of its geometric components, with each building being a compilation of basic geometric shapes. The flat white walls and shapes of the structure also create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that can be fully appreciated without distraction.
