Farhan Qazi

Biography

I’m Farhan Qazi, a Bachelor of Design (BDes) student at York University with a focus on photography, editorial visual storytelling, and experience-driven design. I’m drawn to image-making as a way of capturing emotion, identity, and atmosphere, and I’m especially interested in how visual choices, such as composition, styling, and spatial context - shape narrative and meaning.
My creative practice is influenced by editorial photography and contemporary visual culture, as well as the design of events and environments that engage audiences beyond the image. I’m inspired by work that feels intentional and immersive, whether it exists within a photograph or a physical space. Rather than simply documenting moments, I aim to construct visuals and experiences that are emotionally grounded and concept driven.
