A promise, a key, a door that should never be opened.
Eve the Seventh is a 8-bit psychological gothic game done on bitsy, set in France in 1463 just after the Hundred Years’ War end. This retro-style game contains elements of romance and the supernatural and explores themes of curiosity, time paradoxes and the power of fear.
Eve the Seventh, based on Charles Perrault’s “Bluebeard,” centres around the protagonist, Eve, wife of Gaspard Lenoir, entering a forbidden room and ending up killed by none other than her husband. She wakes up months in the past just a day after their wedding day. Seeing this as her chance to make different choices, she's made up her mind; Eve has decided to avoid the forbidden room and find an escape route.
