lost fascination
The orange rose was a gift from the unseen narrator’s lover who left them years ago to fight for their kingdom’s freedom. The first three images are the furthest back as the narrator is anxiously awaiting their return. The last scenes are decades after; war overtook the kingdom but the rose, the only thing left of the narrator’s lover, is all that remains.
Lost Signal
The listener is a sailor on their own ship out on sea. They get caught in a thunderstorm, stuck in the middle of the sea, infested by sirens.
