This is a script written in Mackenzie's 3rd year screenwriting for production class. It is an adaptation of an excerpt from "Of Dolls and Rifles" from The
Unwomanly Face of War By Svetlana Alexievich.
The logline is as follows: A wartime nurse tries to heal a soldier with a head wound, but when he suddenly says her name despite having never met her, she realizes she must make the ultimate choice.
While this was an excellent script, it has yet to be made into a short film. It is a beautiful yet heart-wrenching story that shows the warmth of human kindness during one of the coldest, hardest times in history.
