Biography

Antonio Zitona, born in 2005, is a Toronto-based media artist pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema and Media Arts at York University’s School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design. His creative path began long before formal training, driven by an early instinct to create. Growing up immersed in film and television, he became fascinated by how moving images can evoke emotion and shift perspective, sparking a lasting passion for storytelling.
With over seven years of practice and a growing specialization in cinematography and storytelling, Antonio has developed a versatile, emotionally driven approach that unites filmmaking, photography, animation, and digital media. He has led and collaborated on narrative films, experimental compositions, and client-focused creative projects, applying skill, creativity, and attention to detail to every endeavour. Defined by curiosity, adaptability, and technical expertise, he continues to grow through collaboration and meaningful storytelling.
