Biography

Lilly is a Toronto-based media artist and film enthusiast. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Cinema and Media Arts at York University. She is a well-rounded artist with proficient techniques in both digital and analog media. Born and raised in Mexico, she draws inspiration from its culture and media, creating an international perspective that reflects on her work. She actively participates in multiple film festivals around Toronto, volunteering her hours and skills to enrich the community and help make film and art accessible to more people. With a focus on filmmaking and photography, Lilly often delves into crafting projects that feature multiple forms of audiovisual elements to convey a message. She works toward learning and exploring different forms of art and intertwining them to create something unique.
